Summer Base Camps

Come to camp at Gracefield! We offer exciting overnight camp programs for youth ages 7 to 17. Each week campers participate in a variety of activities and games suited to their age and interests, as well as a special theme day that’s different each week. Campers will spend their week stay in one of our traditional camp cabins along with other campers and two camp counsellors. Early bird deadline MARCH 31

The Bridge

The Bridge for ages 10-15, when one week of camp just isn’t enough!  Why not stay for two?

The first week of the Bridge is our STEM camp JULY 19-24.  The second week campers who are 10-12 years old will attend Trailblazer 2, while those who are 13-15 years old will be part of our wilderness camp Woodlander and will enjoy a multi day canoe trip.  In between the group will have a weekend camp filled with fun!

Explorer, Trailblazer 1 & 2

A high-energy week of fun, games and camp activities!

Canoeing, swimming, archery, campfires, cookouts and gaga ball are all part of this week of activity and learning. Your camper will have the opportunity to experience outdoor challenges, creative activities and more. With camp counsellors and fellow campers, older camper will try out their new-found camp skills on an overnight wilderness camp at one of our wilderness sites on camp property.

Frontier

An exciting week of making friends, having fun and trying new things!

The week is full of regular camp activities including canoeing, swimming, archery, campfires, cookouts and gaga ball, plus special night time games and activities not offered at our other camps. Campers will go on an overnight trip to one of our wilderness sites on camp property, where they will cook their own meal and participate in a variety of fun wilderness activities.

Science, Technology, Engineering, Technology (STEM) Camp

This is a great week for campers who love understanding the building blocks of how our world works. In addition to regular camp activities, there are science projects, star gazing, exploring the forest for new plants and critters, and learning how numbers make the world work. No computers or electronic devices are needed to see the many STEM elements in the forest, lake, and stars around Gracefield camp. The week will end with our very own Gracefield Science Fair, where campers will be invited to share something they learned during the week or from home.

Music, Art, Drama, Dance (MADD) Camp

A week for campers to express their creativity through music, art, drama, dance, games and lots of laughter! In addition to our ongoing camp activities there will be art projects, jam sessions, improvisation games and dance-offs. Campers are welcome to bring their own art supplies, notebooks, and instruments if they feel comfortable having them at camp. The week will end with a talent show, including presentation of group productions and projects, to give campers an opportunity to demonstrate all the awesome things they learned at MADD camp.
