Activities at Gracefield

With over 280 acres of property, there is always plenty to do at Gracefield all year long!

SUMMER:

  • Canoe on the gorgeous Lac Castor Blanc and explore what our lake has to offer! Canoe rentals go for $10/hour or $25/day (taxes included) and include paddles, life jackets, and a quick canoeing lesson by an ORCKA-trained instructor if desired. You can also bring your own canoe or kayak to explore the lake.
  • Swim in the beautiful, clear waters! Join us for the traditional Turtle Rock swim every Sunday at noon! Swim in one of our many unsupervised areas, or enjoy Lifeguard services at the main beach. We offer free beach swims every Saturday and Sunday, otherwise Lifeguard services are $25/hour by request.
  • Hike on one of our many hiking trails through our 280 acre property. Explore on your own or join one of our guided hikes on the weekend! Take a look at our trail map below.
  • Cycle the Véloroute des draveurs section of the Trans Canada Trail. 28 km of paved trail pass right through the GCCRC property, and connect to another 72 km of gravel dust trail. Bring your bicycle and explore north to Messines along beautiful Blue Sea Lake and south to the town of Gracefield and beyond.
  • Try archery at one of our free sessions on the weekends, or book a private session for $40 + tax at the main office.
  • Climb on our newly-updated bouldering wall in the playing field! Available at any time, just bring a friend to be your spotter.
  • Test your teamwork on our low ropes course at one of our free sessions on the weekends, or book a private session for $55 + tax at the main office.
  • Worship at our weekly Sunday service at 10 am in our outdoor chapel.
  • Play some sports! Enjoy kicking a soccer ball, throwing a football, playing Ultimate Frisbee or other favourite activities on the playing field

WINTER:

  • Cross-Country Skiing
  • Snowshoeing
  • Tobogganing
  • Skating

Our trail map can be found here in colour, or here in black and white.
