Below you will find the different packing list for our Base Camps, Wilderness Camps, and LIT Program

What not to bring (All Camps)

Base Camp Packing List

  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Clothes for the week (including underwear, socks, shorts, t-shirts, long pants, and a sweatshirt)
  • Rain Jacket
  • Wet and Dry pair of closed-toed shoes
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)
  • Towel and Swimsuit
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight or headlamp
  • Any necessary medication
  • Any necessary personal items (such as glasses or hearing aids)
  • Optional items: books, Journals, musical instruments, etc.

Wilderness Camp Packing List

  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Travel pillow *
  • Sleeping Pad *
  • Day Pack (Small backpack)
  • Clothes for the week (including quick-drying tops and bottoms, underwear, socks, and sweatshirts)
  • Rain Jacket
  • Wet and Dry pair of closed-toed shoes
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)
  • Towel and Swimsuit
  • Sunscreen and insect repellent
  • Hat and sunglasses
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight or headlamp
  • Personal Canoe Equipment  (PFD, paddle, dry bag, etc.)*
  • Any necessary medication
  • Any necessary personal items (such as glasses or hearing aids)
  • Optional items: books, Journals, musical instruments, etc.

LIT Packing List

  • Running shoes that can get dirty
  • Boots (hiking/rain)
  • Bug spray and sunscreen
  • Raincoat
  • Hat and Sunglasses
  • Water bottle
  • Watch
  • Flashlight and extra batteries
  • Day Pack (Small backpack)
  • 2 towels (shower and beach)
  • Toiletries (Stuff for a shower, toothbrush, deodorant, hairbrush etc.)
  • Sandals (preferably with back strap)
  • Clothes that can get paint on them
  • Clothes for doing manual labour
  • Long pants for woods
  • T-shirts/tank tops
  • Sweaters
  • Socks and underwear
  • “Nice” outfit
  • 2 bathing suits
  • Shorts (athletic, denim, swimming, etc.)
  • Pants (comfort, jeans, sweats, etc.)
  • Sleepwear/Pajamas
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Travel pillow *
  • Sleeping Pad *
  • Single sheets and blanket (optional)
  • Laundry detergent
  • Wallet
  • Personal Canoe Equipment  (PFD, paddle, dry bag, etc.)*
  • Slippers for Whitepine (optional)
  • Musical instrument (optional)
  • Entertainment (books, bracelets making stuff, journal)

During free time, LITs are free to use their electronic devices however, Gracefield is not
liable for any stolen or lost items.
